The Icefields Parkway part of the trip was especially good, as the scenery was stunning and the area was much quieter than the popular Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. “It was a great way to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Our guide was very informative and interesting. Sadly, when we went to the Fairmont for a drink, the queue was so long, I only got half way to being served before it was time to return to the minibus. It was one of the exceptionally cold days when we didn’t want to walk for too long! I confess I got lost on my way back to the minibus and would have appreciated some kind of information on which path to take back! The hot chocolate and maple cookie back on the minibus was VERY much appreciated!”

“The places in the tour are excellent- gorgeous. Highly recommend. Our driver was very nice and polite. However, he was not a tour guide. I took the same tour last year and had a wonderful guide who told us all about the places we went to and explained everything. Our driver did not offer anything. I had to ask him where we were going- he never offered any information. I don’t think it was his fault. He was new to the tour but I do not think he had the proper training. Again, very nice person, great driver. Just not a tour guide.”
